Effective: August 17, 2026.
1. The service
Vozu provides software-assisted speech transcription, translation, and optional spoken playback. It requires compatible hardware, microphone permission, network access, and third-party processing. Features, language support, and quality can vary by device, language pair, accent, noise, network, and provider availability.
2. Important translation limitation
Machine translation can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Do not rely on Vozu alone for emergencies, medical diagnosis or treatment, legal rights or consent, financial decisions, safety instructions, or any situation where an error could cause serious harm. Use a qualified human interpreter or appropriate professional service.
3. Acceptable use
You must have the right to record or process the people and content involved. Do not use Vozu to violate law, privacy, intellectual-property rights, sanctions, export controls, or the rights of another person. Do not probe, overload, bypass quotas, resell access, extract provider credentials, or interfere with the service.
4. Free allowance and subscriptions
Eligible new mobile installations receive a finite lifetime allowance measured in provider-session seconds. Paid access may be offered as weekly or monthly auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple or Google. The store checkout controls the final localized price, taxes, renewal date, cancellation, refund, and payment terms. Deleting Vozu does not cancel a subscription.
5. Availability and changes
Vozu may be interrupted for maintenance, provider incidents, security, abuse prevention, or causes outside its control. The launch service does not promise offline, camera, document, meeting, call, simultaneous-interpretation, or watch functionality. Material changes to pricing or these terms will be presented as required before they apply.
6. Privacy
The privacy page explains the intended data flow and retention boundaries. Its production version will identify the final controller, contact details, processors, rights, lawful bases where applicable, and jurisdiction-specific disclosures.
7. Ownership and feedback
Vozu and its software, design, and branding remain owned by their respective rights holders. You retain rights in your content. Optional feedback may be used to improve Vozu, but it must not contain secrets, sensitive conversation content, or material you have no right to share.
8. Required final clauses
Before publication, owner/legal review must add the contracting entity and address, governing law, warranty disclaimer, limitation of liability, indemnity where appropriate, dispute process, termination terms, age requirements, consumer-rights exceptions, and an effective contact method. No generated placeholder overrides mandatory local law.
